Failure of Trial Version of Alert Manager to deploy after installation

    Failure of Trial Version of Alert Manager to deploy after installation

    Am attempting to deploy Alert Manager after the installation following the process set out by the installer I am unable to deploy Alert Manager.  This is being deployed to a single server setup for trial purposes.  Here are the error codes:

     Deploying to Central Admin

    Error: Cannot add the specified assembly to the global assembly cache: SPSolutions.Common.dll.

    Can you please verify the following conditions?

    1. Is the account you’re using to install ExCM a Local Administrator on each Web-Front-End (WFE) server in your farm
    2. Is the account you’re using to install ExCM a SharePoint Farm Administrator
    3. Does the assembly ‘SPSolutions.SharePoint.Common.dll’ already exist in the GAC? You can verify this from c:\windows\Assembly.

    Installing as system administrator

    Standalone server not part of a farm

     The following file tha that I found is SPSolutions.common

    Can you please remove the SPSolutions.Common.dll assembly from your Global Assembly Cache (GAC) and try the installation again? You can remove this file by navigating to C:\Windows\Assembly, right clicking on SPSolutions.Common and clicking Uninstall from the context menu. Please keep us posted on your progress.

     I followed the instructions provided - got as far as last time and recieved following message:

     

    MSP1 : http://msp1:29802/ : SharePoint Central Administration v3 :
