Feature: Data Zoom Web Part Extensions

Extensions provide access to additional data sources via the Data Zoom Web Part. The initial list of available extensions include Active Directory, ASP.NET Membership, MS SQL Server, salesforce.com Sales and Syndication.

Feature: Support for Look-up, User, URL, Multi-Column, Multi-Choice and Rating Scale fields

The $SPFields context item was added to provide better support for hard to access fields like Look-up, User, URL, Multi-Column, Multi-Choice and Rating Scale fields

Feature: Additional Site (SPWeb) Methods

Additional methods added to the $SPUtility context item to provide a simple, robust way to retrieve the root web, a web by ID and a web by name/path. These methods ensure the SPWeb objects are disposed properly when the context exists.

Feature: Expression Split Method

Two Split methods added to the $Expressions context item which allow you to split a string using a regular expression.

Feature: Installation Improvements

The Data Zoom Web Part and the Data Zoom Web Part Extensions installation packages have been consolidated into a single self-extracting EXE setup file.

New CreateSPQuery methods added to the SPUtility class which can be used to create an SPQuery object initialized with paging properties.

Feature: Improved Workflow Support

The new $SPWorkflows context item was added to provide improved workflow support. SPModerationStatusType, SPWorkflowStatus, SPWorkflowState and SPWorkflowAssignedToFilter enumerations were also added to the Data Zoom Web Part context.
