Hi,

I am running Alerts Manager 1.0.8122.1 and am not able to send alerts to SharePoint Groups.  Alerts work when sent to a single users without any problems.

I read on this site that there were some issues with older versions but I believe I am running the newest version.  Is there a way around this?  Sending email's to SharePoint Groups is a critical piece of functionality for me.

Please make sure the SharePoint Group alert is assigned an owner and that the own has access to the list or list of targeted by the alert? If the alert is displayed as Unassigned then the alert will not be sent out. In the latest version of Alert Manager SharePoint Group alerts will be assigned to the user who created the alert. In addition, can you create a simple alert with the out-of-the-box alert page. This will ensure your alert timer job is running and your alerts are being sent out correctly.

If this doesn't work can you please upgrade to the latest Alert Manager 2007 version, delete the alert and recreate the alert. If this doesn't correct your issue we will have a technician look at the issue.

Hey Jermey,

I completed everything that you put in the last message and am still unable to send alerts to SharePoint Groups.  Any other suggestions?  I will probably call technical support on Monday as well.

I'm having the exact same issue. Has anyone found a solution to this yet?

PS - I'm running a trial of version 1.0.8209.2. I we can get this working, I'm sold! :-)
